The Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha

22/04/2014 20:49 Australian Central Standard Time (South Australia)

The big rocking horse in Gumeracha is one of the landmarks in Australia. It is actually a kind of huge advertisement for the toy factory there. But because it's situated so nicely in the Adelaide Hills, it developed to a popular destination for excursions. You can climb the rocking horse up to the top at a height of eighteen meters. People who did it get a certificate proving the world-changing moment!
There is also a cafe, a well known sign showing the distances to a lot of capital cities around the world, and a huge wildlife park.
