St. Kilda is just half an hour away from the city to the north (turn right at Gepps Cross and follow Port Wakefield Rd until you'll encounter the sign labelled "St. Kilda Adventure Playground"). It's conveniently to reach by car. I don't know whether or not public transport is available to St. Kilda. The playground covers four hectares along the seafront. It has been opened on 24.10.1982. You'll find there a constructed ship-wreck, a wooden castle, huge slides, two spiral slides inside a hill, flying foxes, a maze and a lot more. It is a place for everybody, from young to old. Don't forget to take something to drink and to eat with you if you visit the adventure playground. I guess, you will spend there a very long time. There are several picnic-areas and a public toilet. And the best of all - it's completely for free! If you go on a Sunday afternoon, a public holiday or in school holidays you'll also have the possibility to visit the Tramway museum, which is just two kilometres distant from the playground. The museum has a collection of every electric tram type that ever ran on the Adelaide system. But to the pics now:
